Radiographic control of the blockage of the facets (Injections into the facet joints)

A special injection needle is placed directly under the particular facet joint under radiographic control. Various medications can in this way be injected to the spot.

 

 

 

 

Indication:

• Arthosis of the facet joints
• Spinal cord malformation
• Facet syndrome (pain in the facet joints)
• non-radiation pain
• Blockages which can be diagnosed by heat probe therapy/thermokoagulation
• Blockages of the small facet joints

It is important to support it by a physiotherapeutic treatment.
